Terms and Conditions
- Entries will only be accepted from people living in Kent. Entries are free and each person may submit up to 5 entries. (Entries will only be exhibited after review by the Curator and/or hanging committee. Entries submitted are not guaranteed to be shown.)
- Paintings and drawings can be in any medium (except electric art) and of any dimension.
- Each entry must be submitted via the on-line entry form on the Malling Art Club website www.mallingartclub.co.uk in a standard “jpeg” or “bmp” format with a maximum file size of 15 mb per picture.
- Each entry must be accompanied by the artists name, address, email address and telephone number. Entries submitted on behalf of children 16 and under should also have their age shown.
- Entries will be posted on the Malling Art Club web site www.mallingartclub.co.uk in the order they are received. The title of the picture and the medium used will be shown together with name of the artist and the price of the picture if it is for sale.
- It is a condition of entry that permission is given to display the picture on any medium or advertising material used by Malling Art Club. However copyright remains with the artist.
- Picture must be the artists own original work and not copies of other work. (Unless credit is given to the original artist)
- If you wish to sell your work please enter the price required on the on-line entry form or enter NFS (Not For Sale)
- If a buyer wishes to buy your work then the club will forward the buyers details directly to you, and the buyer will pay you directly. It will be your responsibility to arrange for delivery and/or collection of the work at your expense or by agreement with the buyer, and this should be borne in mind when setting your sale price.
- A commission of 10% of the agreed sale price should be forwarded to Malling Art Club on completion of your sale. You should also advise us that the picture has been sold so it can be removed from the exhibition or its status changed to “sold” if you wish the picture to remain on show for the duration of the exhibition. (Failure to either advise the club that a picture has been sold and/or pay the commission will result in the immediate removal of all your exhibits from the exhibition and exclusion from participating in any future club exhibitions or competitions.)
- The exhibition will continue until a date to be confirmed by the hanging committee.
- During the duration of the exhibition if you want to replace any of your pictures then please advise the hanging committee via email at [email protected] to arrange the swap. Also to have a picture removed from the exhibition please also email the committee.
