Painting Out Days 2013

Once again we have a programme of days when we are invited to bring their paint, a chair and a picnic  to some of the most beautiful gardens in Kent. All will be held on consecutive Wednesdays with the exception of July 14th and 21st (Two Sundays) from 10am to 3pm.

May 22nd and 29th

Becketts Farm, Rectory Lane, Maidstone  Mrs Gunnion will once again welcome us to her fascinating farm with all sorts of outbuildings, oasts and orchards.

June 5th and 12th

Wrotham House, Borough Green Road, Wrotham. TN15 7RA  A new venue which has a wild flower garden as well as a croquet lawn and formal flower beds. Mrs Beech is our host.

June 19th and 26th

West Yaldham, Kemsing Road, Wrotham  Mrs Harvey Kelly

July 3rd and 10th

Church Farm, Ryarsh. ME19 5LB  This farm has everything! A period house, beautiful gardens and all the fascination of a real working farmyard. Lovely views of the Downs and next door to the church. Mrs Bevington is our host.

July 14th and 21st (Sundays)

Went House, Swan Street, West Malling  Members will remember painting here many years ago. Mr and Mrs Gibbins will be pleased to renew our aquantance with this lovely garden.

July 31st and August 7th

Heavers, Church Lane, Ryarsh ME19 5JU  Mr Edwards property is an interesting one and he would like to show ushis pond which is fringed with willows and has superb reflections.

August 14th and 21st

The Lodge, 34 Frog Lane, West Malling ME19 6LW  One of our members Michelle Buehrlen is happy to welcome us to her lovely garden in the centre of town.

August 28th and September 4th

Boxley Abbey, Sandling, Maidstone ME14 3BT  A magnificent ancient abbey. It has a barn too with a beautiful walled garden and another secret garden. Miss Best Shaw is our host.
